These Task Doer Service Terms apply to all users who offer, accept, or perform services through Kwickly.
They supplement the general Kwickly Terms & Conditions.
By registering as a Task Doer, selecting service categories, accepting a task, using Stripe Connect, receiving payouts, completing verification, or offering services, you agree to these Task Doer Terms.
1. Independent Provider Status
You are an independent provider.
You are not an employee, worker, agent, partner, franchisee, or representative of Kwickly.
You are solely responsible for how you perform tasks, the tools you use, your working methods, your schedule, and your legal obligations.
2. Task Doer Types
Kwickly may allow Task Doers to register as
Freelancer
A self-employed individual or sole trader.
By registering and offering services, the Task Doer confirms that they are legally authorised, qualified, competent, and properly insured where required to perform the services they offer. Task Doers remain solely responsible for ensuring that they comply with all applicable legal, tax, invoicing, insurance, safety, professional, and regulatory obligations.
Registered Company
A legal business entity such as a Portuguese Lda. or equivalent.
By registering and offering services as a company, the Task Doer confirms that the company is legally registered, authorised, qualified, competent, and properly insured where required to perform the services it offers. The Task Doer also confirms that any person performing tasks on behalf of the company has the required legal authorisation, qualifications, competence, insurance, permissions, and professional ability to perform those tasks.
Task Doers remain solely responsible for ensuring that they comply with all applicable legal, tax, invoicing, insurance, safety, professional, and regulatory obligations.
Kwickly may display your provider type on your profile.
3. Professional Responsibility Notice
Some services may require licences, certifications, insurance, registrations, permits, professional qualifications, background checks, or other legal permissions depending on the service and location.
By offering any service, you confirm that you are legally permitted, qualified, competent, and properly insured where required.
You are responsible for checking and complying with all applicable laws, regulations, safety standards, tax obligations, insurance requirements, and professional rules before accepting or completing any task.
You must not offer or perform any service that you are not legally authorised, qualified, insured, or competent to provide.
You are responsible for issuing invoices, receipts, or required payment documents to clients where required by law.
Failure to Comply with Professional Responsibility Obligations
If a Task Doer offers, accepts, or performs a task without holding the required legal authorisation, licence, certification, registration, permit, insurance, qualification, background check, tax status, or professional permission, the Task Doer is solely responsible for any resulting consequences.
This may include, without limitation
Refunds to the Task Poster; Cancellation of the task; Loss or withholding of payout; Suspension or removal of Task Doer access; Removal of affected categories from the Task Doer profile; Reporting to competent authorities where legally required; Responsibility for fines, penalties, damages, claims, complaints, losses, or costs caused by the non-compliance; Responsibility for any failure to issue required invoices, receipts, or payment documents.
Kwickly may request additional information, documents, or evidence at any time where there is a complaint, dispute, safety concern, fraud concern, legal concern, regulatory concern, or suspected breach of these Terms.
If the Task Doer fails to provide requested information within a reasonable time, or if Kwickly reasonably believes that the Task Doer is not legally authorised, qualified, insured, competent, or compliant, Kwickly may restrict, suspend, or terminate the account and may delay, reverse, or cancel payouts where legally and technically permitted.
Kwickly does not independently verify every licence, certification, insurance policy, registration, tax status, professional qualification, or legal authorisation unless expressly stated in writing. Task Doers remain solely responsible for ensuring that they are legally permitted to offer and perform the services they provide through Kwickly.
4. Onboarding
Kwickly may require

- Portfolio photos if necessary
Kwickly may approve, reject, suspend, or request additional information at any time.
5. Stripe Connect
To receive payouts, you must complete Stripe Connect onboarding.
Stripe may request
- Identity details
- Address
- Date of birth
- Tax information
- Bank account / IBAN
- Company details
- Representatives
- Beneficial owners
- Business activity
- Additional verification documents
Stripe controls any payment, KYC, risk, restriction, and payout decisions.
Kwickly does not guarantee that Stripe will approve your account.
You must keep your Stripe account information accurate and up to date.
If Stripe restricts your account, payouts may be delayed, blocked, reversed, or unavailable.
6. Authorisation to Use Stripe Connect Data
You authorise Kwickly to
- Create or connect a Stripe Connected Account
- Send required onboarding information to Stripe
- Receive Stripe account status information
- Receive KYC and verification status
- Receive payout eligibility status
- Receive payment, transfer, refund, and dispute data
- Use Stripe data for compliance, platform operation, risk review, fraud prevention, support, and admin dashboard purposes
7. Payouts
Payouts are subject to
- Successful task completion
- Payment received from Task Poster
- Stripe processing
- Platform fees
- Refunds
- Chargebacks
- Disputes
- Kwickly risk review
- Stripe account status
- Legal compliance
Kwickly may deduct
- Platform commission
- Stripe fees
- Refund amounts
- Chargeback amounts
- Dispute costs
- Adjustments
- Amounts owed to Kwickly
Payout timing is not guaranteed. Payouts are processed through the Task Doer’s Stripe Express connected account and may depend on Stripe verification, Stripe payout schedule, bank processing times, Kwickly’s review period, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, fraud checks, and account restrictions.
8. Negative Balances
If refunds, disputes, chargebacks, failed payments, or reversals create a negative balance, you may be responsible for repaying the amount.
Kwickly may offset negative balances against future payouts.
Kwickly may restrict your account until the balance is resolved.
9. Task Acceptance
Before accepting a task, you must check
- Description
- Location
- Budget
- Time
- Category
- Photos
- Required tools
- Safety conditions
- Whether you are qualified
- Whether you can arrive on time
Accepting a task means you agree to perform it according to the task details and platform rules.
10. Availability and Radius
You may set
- Available Now status, including separate availability settings for Urgent, Priority, and Scheduled tasks where available.
- Weekday availability
- Weekend availability
- Working hours
- Service radius
- Task categories
Note: You must keep your availability accurate and up to date. If an emergency or unexpected situation prevents you from attending at the agreed time, you must immediately contact the Task Poster through the app and try to agree on a revised time or solution. You must not abandon, ignore, or fail to attend an accepted task without notice.
Repeatedly accepting tasks while unavailable may lead to warnings, reduced visibility, suspension, or termination.
11. Standards of Conduct
You must
- Communicate professionally
- Arrive on time
- Perform work safely
- Respect the client’s property
- Respect privacy
- Follow task details
- Use suitable tools
- Report issues promptly
- Avoid harassment or discrimination
- Avoid aggressive behaviour
- Avoid bypassing platform payments
12. No Platform Circumvention
You must not use Kwickly to find clients and then complete payments outside the platform to avoid fees.
This includes asking for
- Cash payment
- Bank transfer
- MB WAY
- Revolut transfer
- PayPal
- Off-platform payment
- Direct contact to avoid Kwickly fees
Violation may result in suspension, removal, or legal action.
13. Invoices and Taxes
You are responsible for
- Issuing invoices or receipts where required
- Declaring income
- VAT compliance
- Social security contributions
- Tax filings
- Accounting records
- Business registrations
- Professional obligations
Kwickly does not provide tax advice.
Kwickly platform receipts are not a substitute for your legal invoicing obligations.
14. Insurance
You are responsible for having appropriate insurance where required or advisable.
Depending on your services, this may include
- Professional liability insurance
- Public liability insurance
- Motor insurance
- Business insurance
- Equipment insurance
- Worker insurance where applicable
Kwickly does not guarantee insurance coverage for Task Doers unless expressly stated in writing.
15. Tools and Equipment
You are responsible for providing tools, transport, materials, protective equipment, and equipment required to perform your services unless the task description clearly states otherwise.
If extra materials, expenses, or additional charges are required, you must agree them with the Task Poster through the app before purchase, use, or performance. You should not assume reimbursement unless it is clearly agreed through the app.
16. Safety and Refusal
You may refuse or stop a task if
- The environment is unsafe
- The task is illegal
- The task differs materially from the description
- The Task Poster behaves abusively
- The task requires a licence, permit, registration, municipal authorisation, professional qualification, insurance, or other legal permission that you do not hold.
You must promptly notify Kwickly and the Task Poster through the app.
17. Regulated Services
Some services may be regulated.
You must not offer regulated services unless legally permitted.
Examples may include electrical work, plumbing, locksmith work, transport services, legal services, accounting, translation certification, tutoring involving minors, or any activity requiring licence, registration, authorisation, or insurance.
Kwickly may restrict or require additional documents for certain categories.
18. Service Quality
You are responsible for the quality and completion of your work.
If the Task Poster raises an issue, Kwickly may review available evidence and decide whether the payout should be released through Stripe, partially released, delayed, or whether a full or partial refund should be issued.
Kwickly’s decision is a platform payment and account decision. It does not prevent users from seeking legal remedies independently.
19. Cancellations by Task Doer
You must not cancel accepted tasks without valid reason.
If you need to cancel, you must notify the Task Poster immediately through the app.
Repeated cancellations may affect
- Future task access
- Payout review
- Account status
20. No-Show
Failure to attend an accepted task without valid reason may result in
- Refund to Task Poster
- Warning
21. Disputes
If a dispute arises, you must cooperate with Kwickly.
You may be asked to provide
- Photos
- Chat records
- Arrival evidence
- Completion evidence
- Receipts
- Explanation
- Time records
Kwickly may delay release of the payout through Stripe while reviewing the dispute.
22. Reviews
Task Posters may review you.
You must not pressure, threaten, bribe, or manipulate users to change reviews.
You may report reviews that are false, abusive, discriminatory, irrelevant, or unlawful.
23. Profile Information
You are responsible for keeping profile information accurate.
This includes
- Name
- Provider type
- Services
- Radius
- Portfolio photos
- Stripe status
Misleading profiles may be suspended or removed.
24. Data Protection
You must handle Task Poster data lawfully.
You must not misuse
- Address
- Phone number
- Photos
- Chat messages
- Location
- Personal information
- Task details
You may only use Task Poster data to perform the accepted task.
You must not retain, sell, share, publish, or reuse client data outside the task unless legally required.
25. Confidentiality
You may encounter private homes, businesses, documents, belongings, or personal information.
You must keep such information confidential.
You must not photograph, record, publish, or share anything from a task without consent.
26. Account Suspension
Kwickly may suspend or remove your Task Doer access if
- You breach these Terms
- You fail verification
- Stripe restricts your account
- You receive serious complaints
- You engage in unsafe conduct
- You bypass payments
- You submit false, misleading, forged, or inaccurate information or documents where documents are requested
- You repeatedly cancel tasks
- You commit fraud
- You create legal or reputational risk
27. No Guaranteed Earnings
Kwickly does not guarantee
- Task volume
- Earnings
- Acceptance rates
- Visibility
- Payout timing
- Continuous platform access
Task availability depends on demand, the Task Doer’s location, category, service radius, availability, competition, platform rules, account status, and reliability history.
28. Updates
Kwickly may update these Task Doer Terms.
Continued use of Task Doer features means acceptance of updated terms.
